...is a 1972 Super Beetle, over the next year I am going to be restoring her to showroom condition!!! She is running, but I can't drive her until I replace a bolt in the rear end!!!
When we were first married, we had one just like this. Brings back lots of memories - like cracking open the wind windows to defrost the windshield, the little sewing machine sound as it ran, driving a stick shift - wow, lots of good times.
That Volkswagen is looking fine! My parents are huge fans of beetle cars; we used to own a 1978 VW. The family only uses it when we go to the beach, which is weird. Anyway, have you finished the restoration? How is it now?
Cool! A ’72 Super Beetle. The car is obviously an old model, but if it still runs great, then, why not! The only advice I can give you to fully enjoy your ride is to find a very reliable and professional mechanic to help you out with the needed repairs and replacements.

How cute is that?!! How exciting to have your own wheels. I learned to drive stick on a VW. Enough of that story! :-)
